Hi,

I want to claim back an insurance policy i have had for years, Once i started reading this forum i felt so silly that i have been paying.

basically its with Cirencester friendly society, and the morgage broker arranged it when we brought our old house. Its seperate to the mortage and we have been paying about £55 per month for over 6 years now for this.

The really silly thing is that its for accident, sickness and unenployement - but i was self employed when i took it out! - Cant believe i was so silly.

Can I claim back on this, and if so how do i go about it? Please hlep!

I think you might get more help if this is moved to the PPI forum.

I'll ask for it to be moved for you

This means you can go to the FOS to claim any alleged mis-selling of PPI if they are not accommodating with your claim. Depending on the number of years.

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
