Hi,

First post here.

I recently bought this laptop (a couple of days ago):

(Edit)

However i bought it before they took the £50 off it. Is there any way that I could receive this saving or is it just wishful thinking?

Thanks

Go into store, with your reciept and tell them the price has dropped, so long as it's within a week they'll refund you the £50.

They don't have to sell to you as prices change all the time - though promotions etc. You could go back and ask for them to refund and sell you it again at promo price, but they do not have to! its like asking for petrol prices back as one day it was one prices and then it goes down and ask for your last transaction to be cancelled and sold at the price it is today !

Just to clarify the Price Promise is for upto 7 days after purchase and PC World / Currys will include themselves in that so if the product drops by £50 you can get £55 back ie 110% - Did it countless times when I used to work for them.

Just to confirm, I did take the receipt into store within 7 days and they refunded 110% of the difference. It is a completely different situation to the fuel scenario as, as stated above, PC World have a price match promise in place
