they will probably threaten baillifs, wage arrestments, charging orders or taking her soul. unable to accept they where well and truly shafted on a point of LAW, Probably by a solicitor who did there duty and used the law as it is writen.

Yes Andydd you are correct there..but the original creditor or DCA must stop all contact if specifically ordered to by the person in question.

If they dont, then thats harrassment & we all know there are laws in place to protect against all that ;)

Not sure thats correct, surely they can contact them as long as its not OTT ?

Its only deemed harrassment if its continaully and excessive.

Once she tells them 'No further contact' Andydd, then they're absolutely powerless to do anything else. You think after court she's going to be in the mood to have them asking for money? Don't think so, somehow.

Yep and yep.......unless of course you have an injunction!

They still need an enforceable agreement though so they can bugger off, wind their necks in and get back under their rocks.

If the person says no when asked to repay & ORDERS the contact to stop & the creditor carries on, then it is harrassment & technically they breaking the law & technically it becomes a police matter.

I would laugh my head off to see threat monkeys draged out in hancuffs and chucked in to a police van for harrasment.
