As you'll see in http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt-issues/221832-coop-defaults-invalid.html

I already have two invalid DNs from the Co-Op (both with terminations). I've just realised I have had a dodgy DN from Halifax as well. It's dated 3 July 2009 and requires remedy by 17 July 2009, so no time for service (so should be no earlier than 21 July by my estimate). I haven't received a termination, though, and as they're currently in discussion with CAB am not sure if I will. The DN does, however, say 'we will terminate our agreement'. (And they're still sending regular monthly statements.)

Any thoughts on what I should do (if anything)?

Having written to Halifax (cc'd to Wescot) to accept unlawful recission I had a response from Wescot on 04/02 saying they'd suspend collection activity while investigating 'my complaint' and would contact me on conclusion. Having heard nothing I today received "a formal notice of court action" from Robinson Way Ltd "authorised by HBOS". Unless I pay in full within ten days they "may take action".

Take a look at my thread http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/197540-bos-halifax.html, if it's of a similar situation to ours, then you should take a look at the letter which DD kindly provided, http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/197540-bos-halifax-11.html#post2738145 you could adapt and send to robbers way.

Hope it helps

Having had several months of being pestered by Robinson Way I last week wrote to them explaining the UR. Today I received this:

We refer to your recent query & comment. In view of your query, we have today removed your account from our files, and returned your case to our Client who will, if appropriate, deal directly with you in the future.

Our client has been made aware of the reason why your account is being closed and returned to them.

My first DN victory, even if only a modest one!
