Hi - i wonder if anyone can help. in the last week of July my rad burst whilst on holiday and I was taken to a local garage by Green flag. They put in a new rad. I have now burst a pipe and have oil and water mixing and the local garage is saying it may be a faulty radiator or new cylinder gasket needed!

if its a faulty rad - can i get some refund from the garage who put it in 7 weeks ago. i have receipt and proof of payment.:|

Damage/faults with the radiator won't mix oil and water unless you have an inbuilt oil cooler which lot of cars do, but it is usually auto gearbox oil that is cooled in this way.
