So I purchased my camera in November, or around then, it still has a few months left on its 1 year warranty.


I took it into Currys, where the SA wrote on the receipt that the screen wasn't working. Fair enough, this was the fault.


4 weeks go past and I don't hear anything so I call Curry's and ask them what's going on. Apparently Sony have gotten back to them, and have "judged" that I must have dropped it to cause the internal damage, which is just BS, the lady at Curry's said that the camera had more damage than they thought when I handed it in. There is nothing on the receipt saying damage on it.


They say it will cost more than the camera to repair (at the time £240) and want me to pay £28 to get my damaged, broken camera back.


I have called Sony and they have said that it's cracked inside, and there's nothing they can do about it...surely this isn't right?!


What should I do? :(
