Hiya

I don't know anythink about payday loans but someone will be along that does.

Re bank a/c's - Send one SAR requesting info on each account (AFAIK 1 request can be used for all a/c's held with that bank). This will cost £10 but will highlight any unfair charges which you can reclaim.

http://www.consumerforums.com/resources/templates-library/48-bank-templates/110--data-protection-act-1998-subject-access-request-

The loan a/c looks highly suspect but the SAR should reveal what's going on there.

Re catalogue - probably the easiest to see off. Send CCA request. This costs £1. Remember to print your name, not sign

Is there PPI on any of the loans? Have a look at this

It may be that a debt management plan will be your best option but you need the full information to enable you to make an informed choice.

No need to pay someone for something you can do for free with the research on here!

Don't worry about asking here for help cos you'll find that it will come - the first steps are always the worst but they are soooo worth taking.

ok,

i would send a cca request to the catelogues and loans. It's no 1 in my signature. This entitles you to check the paperwork is in order. You need to include a £1 po and send recorded. DO not sign your name on the request just print it. Might be an idea to buy folders for each to keep track.

Overdrafts you can claim bck the charges as above.

If in the meantime you need some space you can send letter A from here:

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general-debt-issues/20758-creditors-dcas-letter-templates.html

you can pop this along with your cca request

With £18K of debt and net salary of £1400 per month, your debts are going to take a very long time to completely clear, even if you can reclaim or stop interest or charges. I'd strongly recommend that you seek advice from a local Insolvency Practitioner or money advice centre. If you are in Fife, there are some excellent Insolvency Practitioners in Dundee who would be able to give you confidential, impartial advice at no cost. However, there are IPs in every city in Scotland and also some of the smaller towns who are willing and able to have a chat with anyone in your situation. You've taken the first step by researching some of your options online but you really can't beat sitting down with someone with many years of experience in dealing with individuals in difficulty to help you work out the best path for your own circumstances.

Good luck.

Hello,

Am I right in saying you are not a homeowner, there are a couple of options which help you out this situation, a trust deed may be an option for you or bankruptcy............I could see the creditors you owe dragging there heels with a trust deed, if you take advice and go with br, Im guessing you won,t qualify for low income low asset br due to your income, you would have to wait until a creditor took legal advise and pursued you through the courts so if your thinking of br, own no property, have no valueable assets, and it won,t affect employment, I would consider stop paying all these creditors right away, only pay essentials, rent, council tax, all essentails and play the waiting game, if you have more going out than coming in, you,ll need to take this step now instead of struggling, most of these companies you have mentioned are just legalised loan sharks preying on the folk who cannot afford to pay them in the first place.....once again though, please take proper advice, we can only guide you and offer views....
