Hi all,

I have sent Seminole a private message about this query: but I would also like to know your opinion.

I have an Hire Purchase Agreement for a car: and I hit financial problems and the original creditor sells the debt.

I request that the agreement be terminated under the auspices of the contract. The debt collector tells me to "get stuffed" and either sell the car or have it auctined - and pass the proceeds to them.

The termination figure was £5040 and i had paid £7560.

I recently requested a SAR and all the information about this had been recorded in the documentation.

By law of contract - shouldn't they have allowed the termination?

Here we go

How do I make this image larger?

Ramseur.

The Termination Rights: "You have the right to end this agreement. If you wish to do so, you should write to the person authorised to receive payments. We will be intitled to the return of googs and to half the total amount payable under this agreement and that is £5040."

At That time, I had paid far more.
