In the last week of July, I was involved in a collision with another car, 3 days later, Autorestore visited me to inspect the car and what brilliant service I thought. They said the car needed to go to a garage and so the details were sent back to Aviva. I decided not to rush and give Aviva time to deal with the claim. Four weeks later I called Aviva and asked about arranging for my car to be repaired. After being passed around two or three people eventually I was given the name of a suitable garage and told ring up in a few hours when they will have received the necessary documentation. I have since had a similar phone call every working day for at least the last six days and the documentation never arrives at the agreed garage. I have reported this via their online complaints procedure whilst also doing it here.

Does the online complaints procedure work or will I need to escalate this further by blogging and using Twitter?

Hi Becca,

I did email you yesterday using a different email address however the problem is now sorted. My use of the Aviva online complaint form seems to have worked and my car is now booked in.
