Hi people

Iv been reading bits here and there from the forum for a while but am still confused about bank charges. Iv gone through my bank statements online and have been charged a total of £532 in unpaid item fees since 12/01/2007. Am i able to claim these charges back, even if its my fault i didn't have sufficient funds available at these times?

thanks

Yes you can claim them back. Furthermore, most of it is not your fault. It is the fault of the bank which has been looting your account of unfair excessive bank charges and which have kept you in a position where you couldn't afford to meet your bills.

Claim it all back plus any interest which you have paid on the charges. Start now. Go through the County Court, not the FOS. Read the forum material on this and the experiences of others

Thanks bankfodder,

Also iv been reading about claiming in hardship, do i just copy the pre-lim template and put in my details and write a small section about why i should be dealt with sooner under hardship?

Thanks
