Can anyone tell me if 'Get Payday.co uk' is a legitimate company? I applied for a payday loan (24 hours ago) and after hearing nothing, sent an email requesting confirmation, but still no response. I am worried as they have a lot of personal details including all my bank details. Any advice gratefully received.

I've just checked the website and it looks very dodgy to me!

Unlike some other payday loan companies there is no information on whether they have a credit licence, if they are regulated by the office of fair trading or if they abide by the consumer credit act. I have certainly not heard of them before. Click on this safe link from a review website Get Payday Loans | D and D Marketing

Personally I would cancel your debit card if you have given them the number for them to take payments out. Just contact your bank and say that you have "lost" the card or that your card details have been comprimised.

:!: Activ Kapital 2009 - £316 debt cancelled due to no credit agreement

:!: TNC Legal Collections (Swinton) - £61 written off due to complaint being upheld with the FOS

:D Be Happy and treat people exactly how you would like to be treated

 Don't let people take advantage of you and stand up for your rights and beliefs

:p You only live once so don't take things so seriously

Makes sense, I made the same mistake a year ago but thankfully nothing serious happened!
