where did my parking ticket come from

i have just recieved a euro car parks tickets for £80

it says that i was at lidls over the maximum period,

 

this is the first i have heard of it, how do i go about appealing it

 

can i ask for what proof they have that i was there longer then i was

What you have is an un-enforcable invoice for an alleged breach of car parking contract. Like all tickets issued by Private Parking Companies it has no basis in law. Essentially the business model is a mail-based [problem].

 

They will have obtained your details as the registered keeper from the DVLA. The driver is the person they should be persuing. You as the RK are under no legal obligation to tell them anything.

 

I can't recall any cases of Euro trying anything more than threatening letters. They may involve a debt collector (often an "in-house" job) and make all kinds of threats. Your best bet is to ignore them. They will only write to you more if you write to them. Please bear in mind that there is no independent appeal process - they make the decision as to whether they get paid. (.....Hmmm.... Money or allow appeal - No brainer).

Ignore them completely as pin1onu says. There is no "appeals" process so you would only be wasting a stamp on it.
