Hi,

 

I have had HS since 2006.

 

I sent off a non-renewal letter to them following an annual hike to £120!

 

Ive just noticed that they have taken out the money last month, when i phoned they stated that they never received the letter and the 28 day cancellation period has now lapsed.

 

They have passed it on to their complaints dept who will decide whether i can cancel the policy and my money back.

 

I realise that i should have sent the letter recorded delivery, but what are my rights?!!!

Can I ask what the policy will cost you, IMHO you should just wait for their written response.

Then if they refuse the cancellation escalate your complaint to the FOS.
