Barclays Bank Charges Claim & Barlcays Sent Somebody Elses Statements

Hi,

 

I am looking to put in a claim for my bank charges from Barclays?

 

I have to accounts with charges, should I put the totals for both accounts in one letter or 2 seperate letters?

 

Also when requesting statements they sent me lots of statements for another customer too, although the top letter was addressed to me...Should I throw this at them in the same letter too when claiming charges and maybe state that this doesnt give me any faith in my details being kept securely as how am I to know if my statements/account information havent been sent to other customers in error before? Also what legalities can I use for them sending somebody elses information?

Re the other customer's data, please see this and follow the same advice, - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclaycard/214532-head-privacy-head-muppet.html Don't bother to try and use this matter as a lever to get what you want. It won't work so leave it to the ICO to d/w.

 

Re your two accounts, prepare a separate Prelim Claim letter and SOC for each a/c and send them off to Barclays together. You can include to two claims on one Form N1 when you file at court.
