I'm not sure if anyone else has had a call similar but today i received a call on my mobile from a company saying that if i have had any loans, credit cards etc opened up before 2007 then they can clear them for me for only 10% of the debt. They went through all the stuff of how it's been on tv and what's happening with it.

It's strange because about a week ago I sent in my SAR requests to 3 banks and this guy pretty much went through the steps one by one that are outlined on this forum but the cost for the privelage is 10% of the debt.

I told him i had already started this and I didn't need their help and that all i've outlayed up to yet is £30 for 3 postal orders. He still insisted they could help but whats the point paying twice for the same service offered on the forum.

They said that if there's no contract then they could get the debt wiped out and if there is then their solicitors will go through the contract with a fine toothed comb and sort it for me.

To make it worse, they're asking for the 10% to be paid up front, on the credit card so that if they do clear the debt technically it's cost me nothing.

[problem] or what? Why pay when this forum offers this for nothing in a more detailed step by step guidance.

It was also strange that he rang me on my mobile when i have signed up to the ex directory list.

Chris

Your right there's no reason why you should pay someone to do what you can and have already started to do yourself.
