Hello

Early last year I started using Paypal to buy stuff online. At the time i did not know about unpaid direct debit fees and went overdrawn. The charge incurred caused me to go overdrawn many more times as i was not informed of these charges.

In december i wrote to them and recieved under half back as a partial refund however i was just reading the info about bank charges on the moneysavingexpert website and noticed the legality of the situation and that i should not have declined their offer. i never replied to their letter that i recieved.

do you believe it would be possible to dispute the matter further?

yes, read the FAQs and the other material. It is important that you get a grip on the concepts yourself so that if you have to go to court (which you may well) then you will be able to argue competently.

good luck,

Martin
