Good Afternoon.

Your balance is now outstanding and has come down to the collections department today.

Interest and charges will keep being added until a re payment plan is made. There are 3 options to move forward:

1) Pay in full

2) Pay the rollover

3) Create a monthly re payment plan.

Please be aware until a plan is agreed alternative collection methods will continue and if no reply we will try to contact you through your employer.

These type of companies really make me sick to the core, they know a good percentage of the type of clients they entice are likely to be payers who will run into difficulties.

Perhaps if they where more choosy who they lent to they would ot have half the problems they get.

and to top it off they break all the guidance given by the OFT to collect i wish the government would wake up and show some teeth.

Hi post

These lot rely on their threats, they don't follow them up not that makes their e-mail acceptable. I dealt with one for my brother who is happy paying a tenner monthly by standing order. After a month or two of non payment they start grovelling for any payment. If you were up for the fight you could probably tell them to sod off and see you in court.

Send them an email back and give them the "I don't wish to speak to you via telephone and all calls must stop and all communication to be in writing" email. Also inform them that contacting your friends employer is illegal without a court order and if they wish to continue, you will be complaining to the OFT and FOS and exposing them to the media.

If they do go through your friends employer declare to the evil payday company that it has caused 'public humiliation' under the Data Protection Act 1998 and that if they do not write as requested that you will take it to the Information commissioner ;)
