My wife withdraws £10 via ATM from her natwest account.

She reailses her overdraft interest goes out that day and would go overdrawn

She goes to the natwest branch 5 minutes away and pays it back in.(approx 11:00am to 11:05am)

Within this 5 minute window they apply her interest sending her over.

And apply £28 charge !!!!!!!!!!!

What the hell, I cant believe this s*&**

Was this on a weekday?

How did she pay it back in?

Interest is applied at the end of the day so there is something not quite right with this one.

My bad  should have waited

The wife rang up and she went £2.09p over last month hence the charge.

Anyway they waived it as it was a small amount and she has not gone over in last 12 months.

Although she was refunded,,,,this is so wrong, she worked 5 hours today and earned £30 and natwest can charge £28 all automated in a second, what a sick world we live in.
