What is the legislation that states that CRAs MUST have our data and process it? As far as I can find out there is NO government legislation on this - I know they are using the newer Terrorisim laws but they basically are terrorists themselves - good rating = good credit, bad rating = no credit or credit at extortionate rates....

I dont know of any laws that allow them to hold data on individuals?

Its just always been taken for granted that they can.:confused:

Here is the link to my petition to stop thi8rd parties marking our files, its a step forward and might get in front of a sympathetic MP after the summer holidays - after all they will all be looking for vote catching ideas....

I've signed it. Although I'm very sceptical that anyone in Government will do anything to "rock the boat" that is the financial services industry.

 

But one can only hope.....
