Hi all,

Apart from the earlier thread about Triton threatening me into trying to pay more per month, I also have a dispute with NatWest.

I've written letters to and fro etc etc etc, and yet I was still contacted by Triton, then Moorcroft threatning me with allsorts.

Luckily I have a good friend who sat down and wrote a nasty letter threatening them all back and I duly sent a copy to Moorcroft and NatWest. Or did I?

Moorcroft continued to harrass me, eventually sending a letter saying someone would come round to discuss my options and I would be eligible for a discount yadda yaddda yadda. This letter came the day after NatWest had written to me to tell me that they were looking into the matter.

Annoyed by Moorcroft and frankly sick of them, I placed a complaint with the FOS, which went yesterday. Great! Hopefully, they'll bugger off now.

However, being the kind of person I am, I thought I would check to see if the letters had actually been delivered. Which they have, but I sent one of them to Triton and not Moorcroft! Moorcroft do know that the amount is in dispute, but how will this look when they receive the complaint against them? Surely NatWest should have informed them too?

Have I made a complete mess of this?

Wouldn't worry too much about it Tracy - the letter will probably just go into the pile marked 'send a standard response' & you'll get a lot of gobbly-gook back. :)

Thanks for your replies.

The debt is for an overdraft. I think the reason I sent the letter to Triton rather than Moorcrft is becuase they were the last people I spoke to.

People, who incidentally told me to start making token payments towards the disputed amount and told me there was no contact no. for NatWest customer care team - when I received my letter from NatWest there was a number on both the bottom of the letter and in the leaflet they supplied with it.

So it won't matter that I've complained to the FOS about Moorcroft but sent the letter to Triton?

Is the debt for charges that put you into the overdraft?

Tbh I wouldnt worry about complaining to the fos about moorcroft by accident. Moorcroft are **** like ALL DCA's. The more complaints against them the better.

Wouldn't have thought it mattered personally. Anyway whose to say you sent it to Triton and not Moorcroft they don't know you sent it recorded so it could have got lost in the post anyway especially with these intermittant strikes the mail has been having.
