yes you can

but i bet they will claim their system happened to be faulty that day.

a good bit of advice is NEVER discuss debts with anyone on the phone, just say 'please wite to me only' and put the phone down.

sadly, you have found out the hard way that these leeches will promise the earth on the phone but deny everything later.

you can SAR them, but i bet it get you no-where.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks DX,

i will send it tomorrow,

i am trying to get a default removed which i know i responded to the Notices 3 days after the date of the letter and paid them in order for the default to be removed, which was agreed with amex, but they then defaulted the account 7 months latter without serving a new notice and adding fees and interest up to the new default date which i am about to also claim back.

  • 2 months later...

Hi

can i claim back late payment charges if they are £12 a time, also my account with AE went to pot when they put my interest rates up for late payments which made my minimum payment nearly doubled in one month,

looking at all the info they have sent me it is quite clear that the interest rise was the turning point?

Can i also get the default removed on the grounds of there unfair charges

Regards
