Feedback from the industry since the inception of these awards has requested recognition of the vital work undertaken by compliance and enforcement professionals. 2009 sees the introduction of two new categories to reward teams within compliance and enforcement, so please get on board if you work within this sector. This is your opportunity to shine and highlight your brand.

 

Not forgetting the new category to reward DCA managers working on the creditor side, who manage often complex panels of agencies in maximising returns for their firms.

The awards ceremony

 

The Debt Collection Awards will be held on the evening of 19 November 2009 at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire.

New judges for 2009

 

This year's judging panel sees the addition of Debt Buyers and Sellers Group chief executive officer, Leigh Berkley. The CSA and DBSG support the Debt Collection Awards and will be encouraging its members to enter this year.

 

Also new to the panel, chaired by Steve Wrench of Virgin Media, is head of external recoveries UK at Capital One, Rob Barrett and live residential collection service delivery manager for npower, Mark Howell.

 

Finally, to judge the new enforcement and compliance categories, compliance director for the CSA, Sara de Tute and group director at High Court Enforcement Group, Martin Leyshon also join the panel.

Lets all hope they arrive and depart safely and they have a wonderful time. How much will thier celebrity speaker receive I wonder? I bet its inversely proportional to his knowledge of what these these thieving cowards do.

 

And I was hoping to remain cool and calm too.....

 

 

Yes, shocking. But maybe this is an opportunity for CAG members to have a say, maybe through non-violent protest outside.
