'No further action'

 

My case has been NFA'd. I received a phone call at about 9 a.m. today from Basingstoke Police Station to say that I do not need to surrender my bail at noon as my case is now marked 'no further action'.

 

So my prediction turned out to be correct:

 

My guess is that this is not going anywhere. I do not expect to be charged with any criminal offence.

 

I have now spent seven months under police investigation because of this lying DWP employee (five previously plus two because of this latest malicious complaint). I still have a clean police record.

The Basingstoke Gazette is pretty much pro-Tory and equating 'jobless = lazy scrounger', so I wouldn't expect much from them.

 

EDIT: The Basingstoke Gazette is very proud of hosting Maria 'Killer' Miller, just to give you the tone of the paper.

What an enlighten and interesting read. I stumbled across this thread while trying to do some research of my own in regards to false accusations by the DWP.

 

FitzWilliam I admire your persistence for justice against the seemingly impossible.

 

Although my case is very different I feel the way i have been treated is outrageous, so have joined this forum in the hope of receiving some help, as to be honest I haven't a clue where to start or what to do.

Member FitzWilliam, I admire you for your supreme efforts in holding your head up against one of the most bullying, un-supportive, selfish and self-opinionated organisations/quangos we have ever had to suffer in living memory, namely the dwp!!! (They don't even deserve capital letters!!!!)

 

Altho' I have never had the need to use Alton, Totton or Basingstoke job-centres, reading your story suggests this vicious and spiteful dwp employee and former guard sounds just like the sort of person to take one look at me and accuse me of goodness-knows-what!

 

Kudos also goes to that excellent young Pupil Barrister who did such a good job in defending both yourself and your innocent friend in court and helped clear you both!!!

 

I wish you all the best to both yourself and your friend for the future and hope neither of you ever has to face this type of criminal harassment and victimisation again!
