Hi everyone,

I know this is very naive of me, but following a weekend break in London last weekend, visiting family, we drove through the C zone. Before entering we tried to find a telephone number to pre-pay but couldn't find one.

Obviously today, in the post we received a PCN for £60.00. You can tell I hardly go to London ... so is this the norm now?

Are there any grounds for appeal or shall I just pay the £60.00?

Many thanks,

x:)x

If you travelled on a friday you had until midnight on the following monday to pay. Its very hard to get off a CC PCN if you made no payment I would suggest paying asap to avoid escalating the siuation. If you visit the tfl cc website they will send you a free tax disc holder which has the number to ring to pay the cc over the phone on the back so you don't get caught out again.

Thank you everybody for your advice.

I'm going to make the payment today... I'm happy to pay when I'm in the wrong, so no problem there, it was my mistake, I travelled through it on Monday morning.

The tax disc holder is a brill idea, shall do that as well.
