Bit of an update, I've been sending multiple letters to Link... Advising i will only contact by letter, I have sent 2 letters of the same offering a Payment plan. This was 4+ weeks ago, and also two weeks ago.

I have come home from work today and recived a letter which basically says, We have failed to contact you and set up a method of Payment etc etc, And will now process with county count action for a return goods order... I know they have recived my letters becasue 2 was recorded and they even left a Voice mail acknowledging my letters...

Unsure what to do now :(

Have you started making the payments you have offered? If not, I suggest you do as it will look like you're serious about paying the debt back if/when it gets to court.

I dont know how, I have had advise for them to only contact me i writing, I have looked on my pc and have a copy of 5 Letters i have sent (1 offering payment, others stating I have had no response - please respond)

I have been trying... I can make a payment today 300/400/500+ if needs to be - but as we know, These collections are always stubborn.

thanks rob

Call and tell them you want to pay via bacs (don't give them debit card details as they can dip in to your bank account more)

You will need their sort code, account number and the reference number to give (usually the agreement / account ref number)

Pay a small amount (say £1.22) and call them to see if they have it. Once this is confirmed you can make regular paments as you wish

Please don't over extend yourself- pay what you can affoard and will be able to affoard in the future. if you make a payment arrangement you will be able to keep up it will end in your favour
