I have booked flights with a travle company to go to florida in May 2010. We received a confirmation of the cost per person etc after paying £100 deposit per person (total of £800). I have received a letter to say that the airline has notified the company of a fare increase and we have two options: pay the outstanding balance before a given date in August or pay the amount when it is due next year including the fare increase of £25 per person. Can they do this? Can I get my deposit back?

All I have received is a confirmation with the details of what we have paid and the flight price plus passenger info. There are no details about booking conditions, deposit or anything. Just one sheet of paper, with the details as mentioned on it.
