I wonder if someone could help me please?

We had a HSBC current account a few years ago that we stopped using when it got up to approx £1300 od which were mainly charges, we decided to stop using the account and had some tax credits that were paid into it every week.

HSBC sold the account to CL finance and everything was fine, then in April the tax credits were stopped paid into that account, the next thing we know we've received an N1 form from them from Northampton county court, I sent the acknowledgement of service back, and was advised by a family friend to counter claim them with the charges ( I have already started the process a couple of years ago but decided not to take it any further until the OFT thing has been sorted out)

So I put in a counter claim for the charges and have now received an allocation questionaire, after then reading up on advice on here I think that I might have gone about it all wrong! any advice on what I can do and the info to put on the AQ would really be appreciated!!!

Hi Hotmamma ,welcome to the forum :)

It's a pity that you didn't follow through with the reclaim of charges initially , but never mind - better late than never lol!

If you're counter claiming now that should put everything on hold ....

So , for your AQ -

- have a look at this link and by all means come back if you have any further questions - someone will answer , and we're a friendly lot on here ....... :D
