I have a 7 year old £9,000+ bank loan debt which is at the moment with a debt collecting agency. I have it in writing that the bank cannot produce the loan application or loan agreement - what should be my next move? Does anyone have a letter template I could use now to write to the bank regarding the unenforcability of the loan agreement. Any help would be appreciated.

Which DCA (debt collector) is trying to chase you for the money?

When was the very last time you made a payment toward the debt?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Oh and its Intrum Justitia collecting the debt - they are awful people and I was really happy to read yesterday that redundances were made in that firm - they should all have a taste of what they dish out. I have been paying a reduced monthly amount for 7 years. At the moment I pay £10 per month every month - SHOULD I STOP PAYING ONCE I SEND THE LETTER OFF OR WAIT???
