Hi Folks,

New here but in serious doodoo!

I have managed to fall into a major problem with payday loan companies over the last few months and now have had to change bank card details in order to avoid repaying.

I have emailed these companies advising of the situation I have allowed myself to get into but none of them wish to communicate by email. Most aggressive being Poundstillpayday who repeatedly phone and today phoned my work despite my requests to only communicate via email.

Companies are:

Payday UK (now £708 including default notice which was served the day before payment was due??)

Wonga (now £390)

Uncle Buck (£260 ex any charges)

Quickquid (£137)

Would i just be better placed going via Citizens advice bureau to sort this out?

Have offered each £20 per month but each email is just replied with please call customer services.

Received an email from Zac at poundstillpayday advising that there may even be door to door collectors coming? surely not?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Just keep emailing these people.

Dont phone them. Also, let them know that if anyone comes calling you will report it as threatening behaviour to the police.

If they have transferred your debt they must let you know to where etc.,

I think it may just be a threat to get you to agree to something and phone them.

Keep on emailing you will get there eventually.

I had issues getting payday uk to agree but i emailed them constantly until finally i started to get somewhere! Keep to email as at least then you have written confirmation that you have tried.

Have you sent them the harrasment letter etc from the templates liabary? If not get them fired out to cover your bum!
