Some firms have sufficeint funding to issue their own claims, others have to rely on 3rd party funding. The interest charged on any fund drawdown is rcoverable, I think. Either way the 295 charged by RM to audit accounts IS NOT used to fund claims.

just had a letter from ratio Money saying that the lender has not complied with its legal duty etc etc and that means that the credit agreement is deemed to be incorrect and Ratio can now referthe case to a [panel of solicitors

Any other Caggers at this stage.................?

Ratio Money charge you £295 for the first loan/credit card that you want them to audit to see whether its unenforcable/unfair. £195 for the second and £95 for the third and subsequent ones. Be warned tho this is no quick process and takes an eternity. Also the customer service is still poor and you rarely get any feedback unless you do the chasing.

Ther do not seem to be I signed up last November and it is a long process. I would suggest that you read the whole of this thread to get a good picture.

There are people who are not happy but I have 13 agreements being dealt with and it does seem to keep the claimants/creditors at bay a bit once they know you are with a CMC. Also, once you have a solicitor in place you could stop any sort of payment if you are happy you have a good case.

Show them that the agreements have been checked by a solicitor and that you have a conditional fee agreement signed up.

I have 13 defaults which must also make any creditor wonder whether it is worth pursuing given I have limited income. Most of them have not checked my Experian details for sometime and are not up to date on this. I pay a monthly fee to Experian for alerts on who is searching.

You should spend time gaining an education from this site and make your decision after that. It may pay you to rely on the excellent advice given here.

I have just written and am about to post my third letter of complaint to Ratio Money for the attention of their MD. I rang them a short while ago got an inadequate update and am generally fed up to the back teeth that my claim has and is taking so long. To be told by the solicitor that it could be a further 6 - 9 months was the straw that has broken the camels back for me.

BF,

If you have no CCA's to any of your requests and no information back of any description I cant see a creditor taking you to court as they will have nothing to put before a judge. Anyway if that did happen and you got court papers just post it on here. You know that would have to provide you with the same evidence that they are to put before the judge. If they have an agreement they think is enforceable scan it and get it on here for the experienced caggers to have a look at. That would be exactly what ratio money would do except they would charge you for it. Anything that they can do you can do, you do not have to be legally trained to defend yourself.

I would not worry if I was in your position as receiving no documentation has got to be a sure sign they have not got the CCA which puts you in a really good position I think

I am glad that common sense has prevailed and that nasty rude comments are now moderated and the perpetrators are removed. This site is extremely useful for all those confronted with real issues and dilemmas on the way forward in some cases some "individuals" may not like what they see but feedback on this site works and "people" do take notice.

Has anyone had any dealings or know anything about a firm called `Guardian GB`? These are another one of those firms that will audit credit agreements to see if they are unenforcable/unfair etc. Id be interested to hear anyone`s view especially as they claim to offer a quicker process time than some of the other countless firms out there.
