Hi all

IF a DCA close file and the Original creditor admits to having no CCA how hard it is to get a default removed of your credit file posted by the original creditor 5 years ago??

Also if they have no CCA how do they know when agreement was taken out and how much you owe ???

It's not easy at all, have a read through Knocked back by a DCA on a Sec 10 notice? - The Consumer Forums but don't forget a default drops off your file naturally after six years (five in Scotland).

Also if they have no CCA how do they know when agreement was taken out and how much you owe ???

All that info will be electronically stored, it's just the 'hard copy' they can't provide.
