Are you sure you are not eligible for means tested benefits? Or for example a reduction in council tax?

I can't see how their charges are making the situation worse since you do not use it as your main account and haven't done so for 12 months.

I think you can offer lloyds £1 a month until the conclusion of the OFT test case issues because the debt is in dispute with the charges.

Means tested benefits are specifically based on your income.

Do you have credit card or store card or catalogue charges that can be reclaimed?

yeah i have a loan with welcome and looking at the loan agreement they have added £3012.34 for ppi. the loan was taken out in 06
