Afternoon all,

Sent my first letter to NatWest using the template on here, as well as a list of charges, and received the standard template letter back effectively advising everything is on hold until the test case is resolved (or at least has a more definitive outcome)

There are two questions that arise here

  • Is it actually worth sending the second letter and/or filling the N1 with county court? What difference will it make if I do or I don’t at this stage?
  • I note from another live thread that NatWest are actually defending a claim in court. I didn’t think this was happening at the moment, or in this case is it down to incorrect POC? Thread is below

As a footnote, what do peeps honestly think will happen with the test case? And what will be the ramifications for those owed charges?

If the bank have acknowledged the claim then its a sit and wait albeit CAG advice is to file a claim in county court using an N1.

All charges are on hold but things will become a little clearer once we have the House of Lords decision.
