Things to do in Nottingham?!

I'm visiting the city for a few days at the start of August, what is worth seeing/doing? I'm starting University there in October so I thought I would get a feel for the place!

Nottingham Ghost Walk at The Salutation Inn i heard is quite interesting. The Inn is one of the country's oldest pubs dating back to the 15th century, said to be haunted and the starting point of the Nottingham Ghost Walk.

That might be worth a look. I had a look around the caves a few years ago, that was quite a giggle.

Although I don't condone violence in any way, shape or form I would imagine Birmingham has its fair share of gun crime. That said there is this sort of thing going on in most metropolitan centres, most of which is unreported and unpoliced.

Thing is though, it is still Nottingham, and the only good thing to come out of Nottingham is the road to Leicester

Jongleurs comedy club makes a nice change from time to time.

LOL you can get a good curry there though and you can watch footie, cricket and rugby , all within a short walk of each other

Good luck at Uni and in respect of the gun crime remember you only hear about the bad things cuz they make more interesting reading.

hmmm things to do in nottingham.....

 

i would rate big wok as a deffinate if you like chinese food - upper/lower parlement street forgot which, just get off the tram at the corner house and walk right. £5.99 all you can eat lunchtime buffet and really good food

 

theres also taking photos of buildings and getting bothered by the police...

 

my friend went for getting mugged... anoter one went for a fight on a night out...
