Nottingham Ghost Walk at The Salutation Inn i heard is quite interesting. The Inn is one of the country's oldest pubs dating back to the 15th century, said to be haunted and the starting point of the Nottingham Ghost Walk.

That might be worth a look. I had a look around the caves a few years ago, that was quite a giggle.

Not the gun capital of the UK though is it :-)

 

Although I don't condone violence in any way, shape or form I would imagine Birmingham has its fair share of gun crime. That said there is this sort of thing going on in most metropolitan centres, most of which is unreported and unpoliced.

Thing is though, it is still Nottingham, and the only good thing to come out of Nottingham is the road to Leicester :-)

LOL you can get a good curry there though and you can watch footie, cricket and rugby , all within a short walk of each other :p

I have lived here all my life nearly 40 years and i'm still alive !!!

 

You can visit

 

Nottingham Castle

Wollaton Hall

The caves

Some great pubs, salutation Inn,

Oldest pub The trip to Jeruselam

Lots of great eating to be done

Great Shopping centres

Go for a boat trip on the Trent

Goose fair in October

Nottingham ice arena have some great acts

 

Just a few things for you to be thinking about

 

Good luck at Uni and in respect of the gun crime remember you only hear about the bad things cuz they make more interesting reading.

 

Nottingham is a great city

Ah, that's the local difference, if you did that in Soho or by King's Cross, you could land yourself in all kind of troubles. :razz:

 

I dont think the men in green tights in Soho and Kings Cross have robbery on their minds :rolleyes:

hmmm things to do in nottingham.....

 

i would rate big wok as a deffinate if you like chinese food - upper/lower parlement street forgot which, just get off the tram at the corner house and walk right. £5.99 all you can eat lunchtime buffet and really good food

 

theres also taking photos of buildings and getting bothered by the police...

 

my friend went for getting mugged... anoter one went for a fight on a night out...

 

can go to lenton lane just down from the clifton campus and give all the staff at the pcworld call center the middle finger.... tell them i sent you i ment to go back and do that but forgot to
