A few facts.

I have had a Grattan catalogue for years.

I'm on a DMP Plan since Oct 07

I owe Grattan £265

Grattan write to me in May, asking I contact them - don't say what for. Ignored letter, if they can't be bothered to say why, then I'm not wasting a phone call on them.

Middle June get a default notice & charge.

I complain. End June get a letter apologising, they want to reveiw my DMP payment and need to do this every 6mths (thats news to me, how long have I been paying them on the plan?). I get Payplan to send the financial statement.

Get my statement 2 days later, charge is refunded and reapplied again. 2 weeks later I get a letter reminding me I hadn't made a payment.

I go ape. Sent them a stinking letter telling them they had their request on 6th July, how dare they ignore the Financial Statement for more than 2 weeks.

To be continued

Well is anyone really surprised, it might be worth e-mailing the top bod Koert Tulleners if you can find an e-mail address, and make a complaint.

3 days ago statement arrives, (still no reply to my letter of complaint). Default notice also received, demanding £202.61 by 13/08/09

I get on to Payplan and they tell me Grattan refused the offer. So after 22 months on a DMP, Grattan finally have thrown in the towel and are going to send the heaveys around, apparently I will "have to pay the full balance owing , immediately".

Payplan suggest I contact the FSA and make a complaint. Which I will do.

Also going to look for Kort's email address.
