Hopefully!

Just need CRB to clear (which it should because I've been a good boy), get the contract then the loan and I'm off.

With the loan, I've checked my file (experian) which just shows my Abbey overdraft as "satisfactory" and another credit (store card for Burtons which I never use and only got to get my brother's sales target for the month - he works for Burton) that doesn't have anything by it (because it's not being used).

There is nothing else in the file. Does that mean I've a good credit rating? I'm not paying a fiver just to get a score if I can work it out from other info.

It's just that I'm worried about a credit application not going through, but surely then RBS would not have opened the bank account? Does that sound right?

After reading all the various posts, i can honestly say that with a bit of luck and the fact that your crb check will be ok ( which you know it will ), you are going to have the chance to change your life and make a really good go of it, ( and good luck to you for that ).

You ( from what i can see ) have made the best of a bad thing, and are prepared to fight against the fact that you have no cash, no car ( at the mo') etc, etc, but hopefully all of this will change now.

You are aware of the old proverb...." you need money to make money",

and doesn't it ring true time after time.

Good luck to you gyzmo.

Baz

Please note that although my advice is offered, you should consult your legal representative before taking ANY action.

have a nice day !!
