I have been reading with interest the problems with EGG CCA's in the various threads.

I have received a response to my CCA from capquest which consists of 2 photocopies, no copies statements, no T&C's which are referred to in the CCA (from March 2000):-

I would be gateful for advice, as I see it there are potentially many things wrong which may make it not enforceable from what I have read on here, but before I reply to them (I will post up the letter here) I would like clarification on my specific agreement as it seems slightly different than others I have seen on here:-

Egg state Approved/individual limit instead of credit limit?

No interest rate for PURCHASES only transfers! - Does this mean they have been charging interest illegaly?

No interest rate for cash advances ONLY a handling fee?

Transfer Balance interest is not stipulated as variable, so should have been fixed for the period?

No charges on default etc?

No authorisation to process my Data with any 3rd party!

Does X really consitute a signed agreement on behalf of Egg?

If you applied for the Egg card online then an "X" would suffice as a signature.
