Game Rules

  1. blah blah
  2. blah blah
  3. In a case of system malfunction we shall refund all stakes placed on that particular game. In such cases CozyGames will be under no obligation to pay players who take advantage of these occurrences and an alternative award may be determined on a case by case basis.
  4. blah blah
  5. In case of any disagreement management's decision will be final.

And then you have:

Under the conditions of use:

Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless House of Bingo, its parent or subsidiary companies, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions or demands, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of the Website, the Games, or any other content contained therein or breach of any of the Terms of Use.

And then the real kick in the teeth:

Jurisdiction / Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions will be construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions thereof. Users of this Site agree that the venue for resolution of any dispute, claim, or action arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be in a court located in Cyprus. Users of this Site consent to the jurisdiction of the court selected by House of Bingo and waive any claim that the venue selected by House of Bingo lacks personal jurisdiction over such Users or that such venue is a forum non-convenience.

I'm sorry Janice it's not the answer you want but I don't think you will ever convince them to award your prize, my advice is to withdraw any deposits you have and look for a site which offers the sam e or similar facilities within British Jurisdiction. Be very careful about some of the channel island registered sites too, not saying they're dodgy but they do have a strange approach to automated gambling and you might find that the %ages aren't what you might expect in certain situations.

EDIT Sorry I forgot to say that before walking away from this site you should give them hell over what they've done and see if an award may be made in your instance on a 'case by case' basis as stated. The one dead cert is that they kept the stakes of everyone who lost on that game and only notified the winners of the malfunction.

Certainly does hurt. I've often wondered when looking at lists of previous winners how many of them do actually exist? Most of these sites have a clause similar to the Cyprus one often it's in Antigua or somewhere equally exotic you'd need to litigate.

What are you like at making websites? There's no libel in 'the truth'.;)

Can you save a history of your account or email it or print screen it?
