hi there!

just checked my bank account today, and i have been paying a standing order to Horwich Farrelly for an old paypal debt, for the last 10 months after it expired!

tried to speak with someone in litigation at Horwich Farrelly, and he said that because they pass the money received straight back to paypal (ie: HF have not bought the debt, just collecting on it) that i have no right to persue HF for it. despite my repayment agreement being with HF and my money going to HF.

He also refused to let me speak with his manager - and when i called back i was passed back to him, after specifically asking not to be!

i called paypal and they said i must raise any queries through my paypal account, which was conveniently (for them, not me!) closed down as i owed them money

can anybody offer me any advice on how to get my money back?

regards

David

send horwich farrelly a sar request for this account

it costs £10 and demand all statements and details of payments made and who to.

Subject Access Request - Consumer Wiki

send it recorded

they then have 40 days to supply the info, after this time you can report them.

when you get the statements see where the payments you made went then reclaim them back from either horwich or paypal
