i had a contract with orange and defaulted on payments due to financial issues and was passed to nco who kept ringing me up at ridicolous times at 8am on a sunday morning and where really nasty when i said i could not pay straight off but could pay in instalements and was told "NO you cant do that you must pay it all immediately "

which i explained i could not and basically they said they could not help me

so i then got a letter from westminster i contacted them and expalined and they seamed more helpfull than nco

however they have now taken to harassing me with phone calls even though i now have a payment arrangement which has been set p for months they are rining me asking for full payment so wanted a bit of advice on what to do

does anyone have westminsters email address as i have lost my piece of paper with it on

?

thank you

This might get more response if it is put in the right forum, Telecoms - mobile or fixed - The Consumer Forums

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

No don't apologise, we all had to start at the beginning, it was just to alert a mod that this might be better in the mobile/telephone forum;)

But as I am here,

Do not ring them, if they ring you tell them you want "everything in writing" and keep repeating it, until you get bored, or they just put the phone down.

They cannot force you to pay the full amount, ask them for their complaints procedure, and follow it to the end, also make a formal complaint about them to OFcom: http://www.ofcom.org.uk/

http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ who will inform your local Trading Standards aswell,

http://www.oft.gov.uk/contactus

http://www.howtocomplain.com/ who will do all the leg work for you..

Here also is a letter template for the telephone harassment, make sure you send it via recorded delivery, and 'print' your name, do not sign it!

Some good advice above, and they are being unreasonable in not accepting your payments, please do report them to the OFT.
