Maybe this is an issue with CallCredit rather than Cap1, but I have a big 'D' showing on the account for three months running. Equifax are only showing it on the month that Cap1 actually defaulted it.

Any ideas?

Its still one default as I understand it its just Callcredit list it by month whereas Equifax are just showing the default on the account singularly. It wont affect your credit rating anymore than having just the one months default listed. A defaulted account can only be defaulted once :-( the default can be taken over by a DCA and there name put on it but the date of the default SHOULDNT change also.

It just appears to be the way they report it then- the system differs between callcredit and equifax / experian.

Thanks again :)

I think so, you could always contact callcredit for confirmation, I'm sure they have a contact email address or mail address to query things.
