Well... Been out all day today...

Mount Pearl, St John's and the town where we're

staying with my brother, Paradise.

SDC11513.jpg

This is St John's bay looking down from half way down Signal Hill.

SDC11544.jpg

This is a shot of the beach just behind my brothers house at dusk.

The town is quite literally still being built in the hillside and where

that path stops is a jaw dropping 500+ foot fall!!

Had a bit of a disappointment today, the new 16GB SD card is a pile

of cr@p and I've lost about half of the 200 photo's I've taken and all

of the video clips. Good job I brought the reliable 2GB card, I'll

just have to download them on to the USB stick every night..

We're doing the whale spotting tour tomorrow! Which all going to plan

will be the highlight of my time over here! I feel so lucky!! :D

It's just approaching half 11 here.... A little nip of Mr Blue Label

and bed for an early start methinks...! :-D

Yes.... Ada Can ! ;)

It's just after 11pm here, had a really good day today, got quite

emotional at one point out in the boat. Seen everything that I

wanted to see in my wildest dreams!! :D

Todays favourite pictures.....

SDC11599.jpg

Approaching Puffin Island, about 3 miles out in the north Atlantic.

SDC11601.jpg

Close up at Puffin Island, there were literally millions of these birds

and the island is otherwise uninhabited.

Going to downtown St John's tomorrow...

Evening all! (It's still Friday here) :D

Had a full day again today... Been to downtown St John's and on the

way back had a quick look around Quidi Vidi village..

I believe it's lashed down at home all day!!

Here's my 2 favourite pic's of the day....

SDC11645.jpg

This is the entrance to the village, the sign shows just how big it is!!

SDC11644.jpg

This is Quidi Vidi brewery.....

Probably not the biggest brewery in the world!!

A bbq all day tomorrow and hopefully my first chance

to over indulge!! :D

OR NOT.... AS IT NOW SEEMS!!!

I've just been told that we're going on a six hour, 190 mile quad

ride in the mountains at noon on Sunday..... And it was meant to

be a special surprise!!! :rolleyes::eek::eek:

Though if I'm honest, the thought of driving a 3000cc motorbike

with 4 wheels and 4 wheel drive through the mountains for 6 hours

is slowly becoming an appealing thought!!

Edited by diskmandave
usual drunk silly typo's and grammar!!
