As above, the date on the ticket for the issuing of the fine is incorrect, and is clearly incorrect. (The wrong month has been written).

Where do I stand on this matter? Is the ticket void? And if so, how do I proceed?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

If needed I can type out the ticket and it's wording.

Thanks. :)

It's void whether it's got the correct date or not.

It's not a fine - it's an unenforceable invoice. Private companies have no powers to issue fines.

It's a [problem].

• do not pay

• do not contact them - that's exactly what they want you to do

• ignore their threatening junkmail full of lies and threats

• they will give up and go away after 4 or 5 letters

No need to type out ticket. What private parking [problem] company is this?

It's a registered Ltd. company...Town and City Parking Ltd.

No. SC138255

Oh and trust me, I wasn't planning on paying.

I don't want baliffs on my door though. Basically they have no legal powers over me with this ticket? Really?!

Town and City - we know them well. Ignore 'em and they go away.

Expect some letters from powerless debt collectors. To have bailiffs knocking on your door you'd need to be taken to court, not defend or lose, and still refuse to pay. Ain't gonna happen.

Ahhh they're known on here are they?

I completely beleive you but are there any links to people that have had issues with them in the past?

I guess I'll just sit it out and await a letter and then use the templates on the sticky section.

If it gets that far....

Thanks!

Do not send any templates. You'll just encourage them to send more letters.

Do a search for Town and City on here and PePiPoo.

i agree with al27. i had the same with a company called W J Parking. had a ticket last october. had 4-5 letters all saying different things, one threatning a home visit. but i just ignored every letter and i havent heard anything for months now! just sit tight and file the letters away when you get them.

the only way they will get money out of you is to take you to small claims, then win. which isnt worth their time or money!

my advice - ignore them!!!

Hi there. They are very well known on here. Follow the advice as noted above. Its valid and does work. Below are some links for you to look at.

This thread is typical of what you can find on here and practically reiterates the above (which goes for pretty much all PPC scams) :)

This is thier website-usual PPC nonsense
