Is there such a thing as a DCA engagement flowchart?

Hi Caggers

 

Not sure if this is a stupid question but an action flowchart would be useful for newbies such as meself.

 

Also it would be nice to have an overview of the the whole process and its possible twists and turns.

 

Hey, maybe we could turn it into a game similar to snakes and ladders and make some funds for the great CAG?

 

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

It's a good idea but they all have such sneaky machinations it would not be easy to cover everything.

Bascically, none of them do as they're supoosed to do from day one anyway and ignore OFT giudlines, which is just giudlines and the CPUTR 2008, which is actullay law. We're waiting paitiently for the OFT to act on the un named dirty 13. The OFT have 1st crud and Mackenzie Hall under scrutiny at the moment but have yet to act

 

Some have memorable phrases such as 'valid even if not read by you' and 'your behaviour in this matter is unacceptable'. Most of them have pre-litigation, pre this and pre that departments also legal departments and different companies that act as clients etc. which we all know are separate desks in the same room.

 

One thing you can always assume when dealing which these companies is that they're out to get you, you're not being paranoid

Other problem is it would usually return to the start unless you're daft enough to pay them:

Yes, as David, says most communication results in a threatogram being issued unless you do and even if you pay them.

 

Each one has it's own peculiar habbits and it's best to state on here when you get contact which one is annoying you and then the more expereinced can help.

 

To give a decisive pattern as to what each DCA opperates is immpossible as they change their modus operandi every so often

When you deal with DCAs imagine you are dealing with idiots, morons & cretins and you won't go far wrong.
