Natwest defaulted on SAR request. What next?

Hiya,

 

Just wanted to find out what others think on the way to proceed when a Creditor defaulted on the SAR request. It has been more then 60 days since SARred Natwest and £10 was cashed. No, documents recieved so far, not a single confirmation etc.

 

what next?

Complain to the ICO https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx they have the power to take enforcement action & fine them £5000 for the privilege.

Where did you send the request?

Was the cheque cashed?

Was the request sent recorded delivery?

SAR was sent 21 of April. First class recorded. Cheque cashed but dont have record with me to check when, but i defo did cash.

Where was the request sent?

Can you check that it hasn't been paid into your account(yes, I know this is stupid but covering one possibility).

£10 was the postal order to Natwest. no way they could just credit that in to my account. chaising a credit of 10 quid in to my account - will not be easy....

Well did they? And furthermore, have you written to them again querying why it has not been sent?
