hi, do I need to sign for a SAR file.

I do not want to sign as I am worry DCA would digital copy my signature on a empty credit card agreement to enforce their legal right.

Is it by law that I must sign it and...

actually I have different signatures amonst my credit cards and my passport, Is it good to practice this way?

Any advice is much appreciated.

just put a big X through it or digitally sign it.

typically requiring it is only a delaying tactic anyhow.

have you actually met this and they wont send info or are just worried about it?

dx

oh PS why are you sending an SAR to a DCA?

they typically only go to the OC

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

if everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's tomorrow

the biggest financial industry in the UK, DCA;s would collapse overnight.

As above, but dont sign at all, just type your name, they may not whinge about it, if they do we can cross that bridge at the time

I think you need to explain why you are doing, it for others to get a better picture of the problem , in order to help more

Please note i have no legal training any advice i give comes from my own experience and from what i have learned on this site

If you right click your mouse over the attchment and select "copy",

then go to your letter and click in the document where you wish to sign -

then right click and select "paste".

Once pasted, you will be able to plat around with the size by using the arrows.

Further, this is what the Information Commissioners Office have to say regarding a siganture being required for a Subject Access Request -
