Hi.

I am posting here as i don't know where else to post, so if there is a section please feel free to move.

I have received a card re: a recorded delivery letter recently, i am not expecting anything however there are issues that may arise due to past debt.

Is there any way of finding out who sent it to me without going to get it?

I have a code, but could i use that at all?

Thanks

if its a recorded delievery

nine times out of ten its from court or debt collection or summons

best thing to do is phone the post office, tell them you were not expecting any thing and ask if it has a return address

Is it a card from the Post Office or is it a 'honey-trap' from a DCA?

Make sure you do not post anything which identifies you. Although we can remove certain things from the site unless it's done in a timely manner everything you post will appear in Google cache & we do not have any control over that.

It was HFO who were known to use this technique, asking you to phone a number to arrange re-delivery, of course there was no such package. I'm sure this technique would be highly frowned upon now.
