i recently obtained my 3 credit files, which had some adverse information.

The most serious being that a dispute of bank charges with Nationwide (1000+) which was passed to Cabot.

I now have 2 identical credit default marks on file.

There is enough information on here to deal with that matter, but my point is these are disputed bank charges (and the "debt" time expires in Aug 09).

Cabot wrote to me recently, after i had received another letter, and i stated the whiole amount was fictitious and had been disputed since the fees were incurred, and that i had stated as such in writing with its "client" with recorded, normal post and faxes, which were never replied.

Cabot informed me that they would not be removing any mark on my credit file until i paid.

Looking further down my credit file, i note the following :

a 23.24p overdraft on my bank file (barclays) from May 2009.

This was queried and i received the following reply from Barclays Data Exceptions.

"The charge relates to a overdraft you incurred on May 29th 2009. Please see your statements"

I did.

Barclays charged me £8.00 for rejecting (insufficient funds) 6 standing orders (no overdraft facility possible on my account) of 161.00 per week ( 12.50 x 2 / 11.00 / 100.00 / 15.00 / 10.00 = 161) which is normally paid weekly, by BACS, into the account on time.

This time, it was late, so they paid one standing order of 12.50 and billed me 8.00 for the collective failures in total.

By "late" i mean the funds were credited by BACS the same day - but Barclays Standing Orders are outgoing between midnight and 6am, and credits to my account are only updated after midhight.

Local branch advised me "they were doing me a favour" by honouring a standing order of 12.50 while rejecting the rest and adding a charge.

who do i moan at first to fix this ????
