ok print the letter off as advised,

If you are bigger than him or if you have a big mate, get your mate to give him the letter and ask him to leave the property

tell him that if he refuses he will be "ejected" from the property usieng reasonable force if necessary

if you are not bigger/not got a mate, then go to the door with your mobile in your hand and two 9's already pressed

ask him to leave.

if he refuses or tried to talk to you press the third 9 and then in his hearing ask for the police and then tell them that there is a man threatening you on your doorstep

if he still fails to leave shut the door and wait for the police- try to get his car number if possible

without doubt he will have gone before they arrive

tell them what threats he has made -

You put the account into dispute so they have to stand back while it's being sorted.

Sounds like the best advice - CSL (From my experience Credit Solutions) may not have bought the debt, they may just be acting as a collection agency - which (IMHO) the CCA request doesnt apply to...

They arent Bailiffs and have no rights without a CCJ - big dogs are good - I have two great danes - dont get anyone knocking at my door for long that doesn't know me

This link may give you some ideas of what power the bailiff actually has (or not as the case may be). http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bailiffs-sheriff-officers/173481-devon-cornwall-police-guidelines.html#post1871849
