18 months ago I suffered a near nervous breakdown and I am still having problems at work whenever I am confronted with a stressful situation, my job does mean that from time to time I have to confront this and it makes me ill for several days afterwards. I have only 2 years to go before I retire and receive a state pension. Will I be able to leave work and retire on health grounds, NOW?, if so what do I need to do and very importantly what will I be able to claim in benefits etc to keep my finances going until I receive the state pension.

It is a very large national company so I imagine it has. But I know that I will be subjected to pressures I can't handle whatever position they put me in. It would be nice to think I could claim dissability benefit, but that is not what i'm worried about particularly. As long as I'm receiving some money I could survive until I receive my state pension. I just don't know what and how much I would receive if I just resigned.
